Anurag Pandey, a Mass Communication student at Sharda University has several credentials to his name. A debater, anchor, activist, entrepreneur and social innovator, he plans to go miles before he sleeps.
Glamorous, eventful and playful are the words that best describe the night of September 21, 2012 when Sharda University hosted its freshers party. Dressed in colourful gowns and trendy outfits, Sharda University girls were indeed looking their very best, which was complimented well by the immaculately dressed boys.
The fresh faces at the campus were extended a warm welcome by their seniors. Lots of celebrations including musical performances, dance shows and ramp walks were witnessed at the event, highlight being the coveted Mr and Ms Fresher title contest.
Speaking on the occasion, Pradeep Kumar Gupta, Chancellor, Sharda University, mentioned, “We welcome the new students at our esteemed institution and celebrate the beginning of college life by breaking communication barriers through freshers party.”

Known as the ‘University Speaker’, Anurag has also hosted series of events including Sharda’s annual fest ‘Chorus’, 2011. Though he is a popular figure on campus, there is so much more to this young man than just being a speaker .
